Our Marketing Strategist, web team, and graphic designers will sit down with you to map out and discuss the strategy behind the website. What is the goal? Is this part of a larger strategy? Do you have a creative concept already in mind?
Next, we analyse each page, clarify its purpose/intention, and understand how it should connect to other pages. We map these elements on the whiteboard, which is then translated into a virtual wireframe. This helps to provide clarity for the design/UX team by visualising the functionality and flow of the design.
The copy is written early on as this determines what each page needs to say and do. We have our professional copywriters craft the copy for your site ensuring it is capturing the voice of your brand perfectly, while still aligning with our UX and strategy.
At this stage, we look for opportunities where photography/videography could be needed to improve the overall site quality. For local businesses we will come on-site and shoot additional content for your website. This may include headshots of the team, team shoots, office shoots, or anything else that will reflect the style and design we are trying to achieve.
The design team will proceed with producing the design of the website by utilising all the resources such as branding guidelines, fonts, colour schemes, logos, etc. They will then produce a design that is well suited to the company's vision and values, while still achieving maximum conversion.
This stage is about getting the tick of approval. We will supply the design to you for revision/approval. At this point, we make sure you are 100% happy with the look and feel of the website.
Once you have approved the design, we then progress with the development of the site. Unless discussed prior with the client, the site will be built in a WordPress environment. The types of tools and plugins will vary depending on the function required. We use only premium tools and plugins within the WordPress environment to produce the website and ensure it reflects your strategic goals.
All websites are optimised to ensure you rank well on Google from the get go.
A large part of our handover process is ensuring that we provide ongoing support across all levels of the website. We offer a 2-week period of ongoing support – included for free. It’s our priority to ensure you are comfortable with the functionality of the new site, know how to use the admin, and know what to do in case there’s any issues. Ultimately, we’ll ensure you're 100% set to go.
