SEO Specialist

Attend marketing meetings with clients to provide input and feedback on both web & SEO

• Analysing, strategising, and producing SEO strategy proposals for clients
• Perform keyword research and produce a keyword list for targeting
• Produce a sitemap and ongoing content proposals
• Onboarding new clients
• Organising access to various applications needed
• Scheduling monthly workloads accordingly
• Delegating tasks on certain projects where possible
• Organising production of content, including copywriting & web designs.
• Topic research for accurate and relevant blog, news and article publishing
• Perform health optimisation of a website – technical onsite and offsite
• Speed optimisation where possible
• Setup schema markup / Yoast SEO
• Analyse backlinks and blacklist toxic domains
• Revision of websites titles, meta descriptions & H1’s
• Implementing/developing new content
• Publishing blogs
• Ability to produce monthly reports on both work done for the month and organic growth results.
• Take ownership of enhancing our internal systems and workflows, including innovating new tools and resources that support better performance across SEO and web projects.

About You
Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience in SEO and WordPress development, during which time you will have proven yourself to be a great communicator and a people person. You will be able to work independently and use your own initiative to get tasks done whilst still being a team player!

You should have:

• A solid understanding of SEO. And staying up to date with the latest information on SEO
• A solid understanding of web development & WordPress development and usage of various page-building plugins, primarily Elementor
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• General marketing understanding
• Be able to translate digital mumbo-jumbo into plain English for clients
• Share honesty & integrity as a core value
• Be someone who always follows through on commitments
• Have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to work in-house at our Southport office on the Gold Coast, QLD
• Follow the instructions (please see below – hint, it’s a test)
